Kal Panning Plot Info:
Gali Yoj says, "Kal Panning is an ancient, cursed island city. It was once a grand, prosperous city, but long ago there was a great battle there, led by the Circle of Twelve after the Great Empire split into two factions. Kal Panning rebelled against the Circle, who they claimed were becoming too powerful and greedy to rule the Empire fairly. The Circle massed an army and attacked Kal Panning, and the battle lasted over a month, with many powerful wizards on both sides. Eventually, the Circle used the last of their strength to curse Kal Panning, and the city itself rose up and destroyed the rest of the inhabitants and defenders. It has been a haunted ruin ever since."
The monsters in Kal Panning are all about draining life while their attack are slightly off the average. Switch to hunting here and train at the lower part of Kal Panning. Then once youve reached to level 42, go nearer to Faleinn to train. You are going to train until level 44 here and it will not be too tedious doing so. You should not be using too much of your Superior Healing Potions and your main healing potion now should be the Greater Healing Potion.
Faeinn Plot Info:
Gali Yoj says, "Trapped in the haunted ruin of Kal Panning are the undead remains of that city's leader, a great and powerful sorceress named Faeinn. She was known as a kind and generous leader when she was alive, but after the city fell, she was killed and rose again as a horrible creature of darkness. However I believe that she was instrumental in sealing the passage into the Two Rings. If you show her the Keladrian Medallion, she might be able to tell you something about how to get into the Two Rings... if she doesn't kill you first."
You should be at least level 44 before you decide to challenge Faeinn. Not because you have to get to that level to beat her but because once you show her your Keladrain Medallion, she will be instantly defeated and all the monsters in Kal Panning will disappear too. So, there will be no more good monsters to train for until you reach the Two Rings Range, where monsters range from level 41-44.
Anyway, step up to Faeinn, and you have an option to show her your Keladrain Medallion. Show it to her and she will die (again). You will receive a massive 1500 xp, which will hopefully send you to level 45, but no matter if it doesnt.
Faeinn will turn into a ghost and will tell you some old grandmother story, which doesnt really matter. Get out of Kal Panning and then go to the entrance of the Two Rings Cave and proceed to the entrance at the other end, which leads to the Two Rings Range. Be warned! Once you get inside you inside the Two Rings Range you will never, ever, even in a thousand years get out of Two Rings.
Two Rings Plot Info:
Gali Yoj says, "The world has long been infested with monsters, giants, undead... all sorts of horrible creatures that plague the countryside and make travel unsafe. I have reason to believe that the source of these problems can be found in the Two Rings. Something is escaping from the Two Rings that must be destroyed... and you are probably the only one who can do that. You have demonstrated amazing courage and spirit in helping unravel many mysteries, and you are probably our only hope."
Two Rings Range
The monsters at the start of the Two Rings Range are just pathetic nobodys. What you want to fight are the monsters near the Two Rings Palace as they give out serious xp. Be warned, some of the monsters here, the Two Rings Archmagus in particular, do some serious damage so it will be wise not to let your hp drop below 100. Level up to 46 here and you are ready to venture into the Two Rings Palace, where Jahbals strongest army roams.
Two Rings Palace, Level 1
Lets see what they monsters in it look like. Hmm, stubby limbs, smiley faces, porky waistline. So Jahbals strongest army consists of Chias. What! Chias?! Yeah, youd better believe it. They are the most powerful of all monsters in Neoquest and they are pure evil, evil to the core of their succulent heart (Yum!). They also seem to have an extremely unhealthy habit of draining your life when they are about to be defeated. All of them can drain you of 100 hp and do a decent amount of damage, around 40-50. But as if to make up for that, they drop Superior Healing Potions commonly and very rarely, Spirit Healing Potions, the most powerful of all healing potions in the game. In fact, they are so rare I say you will be pretty lucky to have 7 or more once you are ready to face Jahbal, but that is enough.
You need to level up to 49 here, and it shouldnt be too difficult. Just remember never let your hp drop below 101, or that could be mean restart or game over.
Two Rings Palace, Level 2
Train around here until you reach level 50 and have at least 14 Superior Healing Potions and 3 Spirit Healing Potions. Having done that, you are now ready to face your greatest nemesis, Jahbal!
Jahbal Plot Info:
Faeinn looks at you sadly. "You are the last hope for the world. You must go to the Two Rings and destroy Jahbal. Only that will enable those who remain living to fight off the monsters that roam the land. Go to the south, and enter the Two Rings using the key you took from me. Jahbal's palace is at the north end of the valley, beyond many dangerous defenders. It will not be an easy task... but what choice do we have?"
Yes, the time has come; you are in tiptop condition to face Jahbal. You should be at level 50, have a well-invested skill tree, an ample amount of healing potions, your Moonstone staff and Inferno equipped and full health. Proceed to the third level, step on the red carpet and get ready to get married. Er? No? Well, then face Jahbal!!!
Jahbal is a terrifying opponent. He has 700hp, can do 90 ice damage, 90 fire damage, 70 stun damage, 50 poison damage which lasts for 3 rounds, stun you, heal himself for 150 hp, drain you of 150 hp and can do around 50 normal damage. Most of his vicious attacks can be blocked by Fortitude but Absorption is also a good skill to use. Never let your hp get below 150. Use your healing potions if you ever get close to that. And I assure that you can beat him say, fewer than 50 rounds on normal difficulty.
So, youve blasted Jahbal off the balcony and when he tries to fly, he cant hahaha! He should have cut down on those high-cholesterol Lupes.
Ok, you have defeated Neoquest and are feeling very smug now, are you? Yes, with your shiny, new trophy you can brag about it and blah, blah, blah. I will leave you with that.
